Pandrol Hyderabad

A new production site for fastening systems was unveiled last October in Hyderabad, India, in the presence of Guy Talbourdet, CEO of the Delachaux Group and Pradeep Khaitan, of Pandrol Rahee Technologies (PRT). This plant is operated by Pandrol Rahee Technologies, our joint venture with the Rahee Group, our Indian fastening systems sector partner since 2005.

Covering an area of 3500 m², this new site will produce nearly 4 million clips per year, mostly for the Indian market. The facilities include an automated clip production line with state-of-theart technology for the anti-corrosion treatment of clips. In India, Pandrol fastening systems are used in the metro, freight and high-speed rail markets.

For Fabrice Seewald, Member of the Pandrol Executive Committee, “this new plant marks a further step in our establishment in India. I am convinced that India will represent an important source of growth for our rail infrastructure activities over the coming years. With this new production site for fastening systems, we will be able to supply the market with products “made in India”, continue to be as close as possible to our customers and create additional jobs in the region. Thanks to our other plant in Raipur, specialized in aluminothermic welding and track equipment, Pandrol now has an industrial tool adapted to capture the growth opportunities presented by the Indian rail infrastructure market.”
